Personal Logo

It took me a while but I was able to finish my logo. What gave me the most trouble was trying to make the design in the middle.

Design Elements

This picture is a good example of  the following:
A big mix between static and dynamic lines all over the place. It contains outlines of buildings, many contour lines that show what the building is made up of, it shows sketch lines that are buildings and there are also salligraphic lines int the four signs of four of the buildings. There are many horizontal, vertical, spiral, and angular lines all  over the picture. There are many geometric shapes like squares, circles, and little peices of triangles if you look closely. There is more positive shapes than there are negative shapes. I suppose there are a mix of different dynamic and static shapes everywhere. If I were to try and give an emotion I'd say it would be a little bit of sabiliy , protectiveness with a little bit of action because of the many squares a few circles and little bits of triangles. I can't really find a texture and there aren't many colors to give it much life and the tone would be a mix of light and darkness because of the colors.

Since I the first picture, I'd say, didn't have much good examples of some things I decided to use this other picture. This picture, unlike the other one has organic shapes of flowers more negative shapes than the other one and still plenty positive shapes. I'd say this picture has a nice calm emotion. I'd say it has a nice and smooth texture with a nice mix of the colors green and blue. This picture also has some other lines like directional lines and and swirly lines and it also seem to be moving from left to right. This value is also light and dark like the first picture I put up.

Out of these two pictures I managed to show you at least all of the elements of design that I have learned in my graphic design class.

Abel Ruiz

Since you probably don't know me very well I'd like to tell you a little bit about who I am by telling you a bit of what I am and what I did over the summer. I'll star by telling you a little bit about me.

As you should know it's my first time in highschool because I'm just a freshman. I'm really quiet and really won't talk much at all unless I'm asking questions or unless I'm with a friend. I also try to be responsible and complete all my assignments on time, but I am just human and might mess up sometimes. I try to be nice to people and help them with what I can. I've been and lived in many states and even out of the country because my dad has worked in universities which has been really fun for me. I know three languages, English, Spanish, and French because I lived in Canada, the US, and I've gone many times to Mexico on summer vacations to visit my family. Things I'd do on my free time would play video games or sports with my friends or just play my guitar and try to learn new songs. Now I'll move on to what I did recently in summer vacation because this all you would really need to now about me.

I had a great summer vacation this summer. First my parents and I went with my Dad to his job conference in Denver, Colorado. We stayed there for a couple of days and while my dad went to his conferences my mom and I would go and visit the city.we also went to an outdoor museum to look at dinosaur tracks. Even tough it was pretty hot, but not as hot as Texas, it was pretty neat. From Colorado we headed toward Arizona to the Grand Canyon and on the way we visited some national parks like Arches national parks and Petrified Forest National park and my Dad and I even went river rafting which also pretty fun. After that long road trip we went to mexico where we stayed about a month before coming back home to the US to start school. I had a great time but my favorite was probably having time to see my family in Mexico.
